Mr. Valentine has spent his entire career advising middle market companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising activities, as well as on various strategic advisory engagements. He has over 15 years of transaction experience in industries including consumer products, building products, business services, and industrial growth, among others. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Mr. Valentine was with Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co.
Additional experience includes work in Paine Webber Incorporated's Investment Banking Group and the Corporate Banking Group of First Union Corporation.
Mr. Valentine earned an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and a B.A. in History from the University of Virginia. He lives in Richmond with his wife and three children.
